Job summary

WORK Inc. is seeking a Community Training Specialist to support four individuals with Autism moving into a new home near Kingston, MA. The role focuses on social inclusion, mentorship, and quality of life for the young adults involved.

Responsibilities include developing community opportunities, providing positive role models, creating and implementing goals and plans, and coordinating with families and service providers to ensure comprehensive care and progress.

Qualifications

• One year experience in human services field required.
• Internships or volunteer work counted toward experience.
• Direct experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or Autism is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in developing opportunities for individuals to participate in their local community.
• Provide positive role modeling and mentorship.
• Preparation and implementation of program goals, individual service plans, progress notes and treatment plans.
• Nurturing a positive relationship with individuals, families, guardians and service providers.
• Providing for appropriate healthcare, medical and dental needs and promoting healthy lifestyle choices.
