Job summary

KenCrest is seeking Community Support Workers in Montgomery and Bucks Counties, PA, to help individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health needs live independently. The role involves home and community support, ADLs, errands, and assisting with appointments.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license with at least two years of driving experience, and experience working with individuals with ID/Autism or behavioral/mental health diagnoses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with 2 years driving experience required.
• Minimum 2 years working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities or Autism.
• 1–2 years experience with individuals with behavioral or mental health diagnoses.
• Ability to use technology (eg. iPad) and stay organized.
• Background checks and drug screening required.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Empower individuals to live independently and participate in their communities.
• Act as advocate, companion, and facilitator in home and community settings.
• Assist with household management, ADLs, and errands.
• Support attendance at appointments and self-advocacy, communication, and self-expression goals.
• Maintain safety and positive engagement while supporting goal attainment.
