Job summary

KenCrest is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with disabilities in upper and central Chester County. You will provide caregiver and life coaching support to promote independence, social engagement, and community involvement.

Open roles include full-time and part-time positions with rotating weekends, plus a two-week paid orientation. Orientation covers Medication Administration, MANDT, and CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (2+ years).
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening as required by state.
• Must understand, speak, read, and follow English instructions.

Responsibilities

• Caregiver and life coach to promote independence and community involvement.
• Assist with daily living activities: personal care, meals, medication administration, social outings, and shopping.
• Support communication and self-expression.
• Complete housekeeping and meal preparation.

In this role, you support individuals in their daily lives while encouraging independence, choice, and community involvement. During this time, you will complete important required trainings, including **Medication Administration, MANDT, and CPR/First Aid**, along with other state-required trainings. This orientation helps you understand how KenCrest works and gives you the tools you need to feel confident and prepared in your role.
