Job description

£24.07k - £25.67k per annum

You must have evidence of a good basic education and basic IT skills. You will require good verbal and written communication skills and previous experience of working in a caring environment and as part of a team.

Some knowledge of the mental and physical problems associated with older people and the risks related to community working are required. You will need good prioritization skills and be able to recognize your own limitations.

Recent significant experience caring for older adults with mental health needs is highly desirable. Please refer to the attached job description and person specification.

A driving licence is required for this post; however, reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010. Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled Worker visa.

Applicants without prior NHS experience will typically be placed at the bottom of the pay band, according to Agenda for Change. The salary offered is below the minimum for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. Therefore, the Trust cannot sponsor applicants requiring such visas.
