Royal Community Support is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for community-based, in-home and local community activities in New Jersey. You will support an adult in a one-on-one setting, focusing on dignity, independence, and meaningful engagement.

The ideal candidate is reliable, energetic, compassionate, and comfortable working independently with behavioral support experience. This is a part-time, in-person role with a focus on person-centered care and community participation.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record and reliable vehicle.
• Authorized to work legally in the United States.

Responsabilités

• Supporting housekeeping tasks (laundry, dishes, tidying, light cleaning).

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support an individual living in Hampton, Hunterdon County, NJ.

This is a community-based position. The DSP will provide support in the individual's home and assist with safe, structured participation in community activities.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, patient, professional, and comfortable working independently in a one-on-one setting.

Our approach to services is person-centered, meaning we focus on the individual's preferences in what they would like out of services.

seeking a DSP who can support her with becoming more engaged in her community and participating in activities that match her interests. She enjoys movies, music, and browsing at the mall. She is nonverbal, uses a wheelchair, and requires support with toileting and transfers. A DSP with experience supporting individuals with behavioral needs and who is comfortable assisting with toileting and transfers is essential.

SCHEDULE:

• Monday - Friday
• 9:00am - 3:00pm
• 5 hours shift
• 30 hours a week

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license with good driving record
• Reliable personal vehicle (community-based support required)
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
• Authorized to work legally in the United States
