Your Mission: As a Community Support Specialist, you’ll be on the front lines of client care, offering behavioral and socially rehabilitative services that help people lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and provide support in areas such as emotional wellbeing, finances, social life, and career goals. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide life-changing support to help clients regain control of their emotional, social, and financial wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic client care.
  • Help clients navigate life’s complexities by connecting them with local resources, support networks, and services.
  • Design personalized treatment plans combining skill-building and compassion.
  • Manage crises with empathy and expertise.
  • Promote wellness across all aspects of clients’ lives.
  • Advocate for clients facing legal, financial, or societal challenges.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field, or relevant experience.
  • Strong communication and trust-building skills.
  • Supportive team player and culturally aware.
  • Adaptable, creative problem-solver.
  • Ability to meet safety and compliance standards if driving is involved.
  • Willingness to pursue certification in Benefits Planning within a year.
  • Flexible in community engagement (homes, centers, drop-in spaces).
  • Organized with attention to paperwork and compliance.
  • Motivated to learn and grow professionally.
Preferred Skills
  • Fluency in working across cultures.
  • Experience with driving roles and safety compliance.
  • Lifelong learner eager to acquire new skills or certifications.
