Job summary

Entrust Community Services in Washington state is seeking a dedicated job coach to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve independence and meaningful employment. You will provide one-on-one coaching, orient participants to sites, and promote inclusive workplaces with employers and teams.

The role emphasizes planning, training, and documentation, including monitoring progress, adjusting service plans, and collaborating with Case Managers to support successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities (preferred).
• Experience in industrial or service-related work (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, one-on-one job coaching and on-site support based on participant service plans.
• Orient new participants to work sites and community settings.
• Teach self-management and independent living skills.
• Deliver transportation and mobility training to support community access.
• Develop, implement, and adjust training plans to meet participant goals.
• Conduct task analyses and identify effective learning strategies.
• Train participants in job duties using safe, efficient, and structured techniques.
• Assist with tasks, when necessary, until accommodations are established.
• Work with employers, supervisors, and coworkers to support workplace inclusion.
• Promote independence by gradually transitioning support to natural workplace supports.
