Larimer County Department of Human Services is seeking a Community Support Specialist III to process eligibility for LTC, Adult Financial, Colorado Works, Medicaid, and SNAP. This role coordinates benefits, reviews cases, and serves as a lead for staff reviewing eligibility rules.
You will work in a hybrid setting with at least one in-office day per week, requiring reliable internet and space for remote work.

We are seeking highly motivated, innovative, and enthusiastic staff members to join our Benefits and Community Support (BCS) Division as Community Support Specialists! A Community Support Specialist III provides case processing work to determine eligibility for the following programs: Long-Term Care (LTC) and/or, Adult Financial and Colorado Works (TANF). This position provides information, coordinates benefits, and determines initial and ongoing eligibility for applicants/recipients of multiple public assistance programs and services within Benefits and Community Support Division of The Department of Human Services. This position will require the applicant to be currently processing eligibility for SNAP and Medicaid for at least two years, and will be trained in LTC and/or Adult Financial and Colorado Works (TANF), if they have no prior training in these programs. This position provides referrals for related resources and services to collateral departments and agencies as appropriate and acts as a lead worker to review work and assist Community Support Specialists in determining eligibility and clarifying rules.
