Abilities Network in Howard County, MD seeks a Direct Support Professional to support individuals with neurodiversity, helping them learn new skills and build natural supports within the community.

You will drive clients to activities using your own vehicle, maintain current driver’s license and insurance, and work a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional evenings or weekends. The position offers benefits and growth opportunities at a Baltimore-area Top Workplace winner.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; some college preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and access to daily use of a personal vehicle.
• Minimum $50,000 automobile liability insurance coverage.
• Strong time-management abilities.
• Ability to think creatively and build community relationships.

• Assist individuals toward personal independence by supporting skill learning and natural supports.
• Driving is required to transport individuals; a personal vehicle, insurance and license are required.
• Deliver customized services tailored to each individual's goals.
• Provide on-the-job coaching to help individuals become independent.
• Encourage development of interpersonal skills.
