Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some college is preferred but not necessary.
• Valid driver's license with a positive driving record and access to daily use of a personal vehicle.
• Excellent understanding of time management.
• Strong ability to think creatively and develop solid internal and external relationships with resources in the community.

Responsibilities

• Actively assist individuals with their individualized plans for daily living.
• Ensure individuals are safe, healthy, and living in a clean environment.
• Assist with planning, implementation, and documentation of programs meeting social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.
• Plan and participate in community outings.
• Assist individuals in working toward personal independence by supporting new skills and natural supports.
• Driving is required; you will transport individuals with your own vehicle and valid license/insurance.
• Provide on-the-job coaching to help individuals become independent on the job.
• Encourage the development of individuals' interpersonal skills.
