Zusammenfassung

Allies Inc. is seeking a Community Support Staff member to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in a community-based residential setting. The role emphasizes teaching daily living skills, ensuring health, safety, and welfare, and collaborating with treatment teams.

You will accompany individuals to appointments, document activities, and participate in ongoing training and development. This is a hands-on position with a focus on independence and quality of life.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English.
• Must be able to sit, bend, squat, reach, be agile and stand for long periods.
• Valid unrestricted driver's license with a good driving record.

Aufgaben

• Provides assistance with daily living skills with respect and dignity.
• Administers medication and documents per procedures.
• Completes training and documents ISP goals.
• Maintains required in-house documentation ( logs, ISP tracking, ABC forms, UIRs/GERs, MAIR, Monthly reports ).
• Completes residential training (CPR/First Aid, medication administration, safety laws).
• Accompanies individuals to appointments and activities.
• Builds support networks with community members.
• Ensures a clean, safe, comfortable environment for individuals.
