Burrell Behavioral Health invites you to join our Community Support Specialist team serving adult clients across Springfield and surrounding areas. Work in homes, clinics, and community settings to provide mentorship, guidance, and hope, tailoring support to each person’s needs.

You will use motivational interviewing and cognitive strategies to help clients achieve treatment goals, all within a culture that values compassion, teamwork, and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Four years of qualifying experience minimum or a combination of education and experience totaling four years.
• Qualified Addictions Professional (QAP) CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, CCJP, RADC-P, RADC, CCDP, CCDP-D.

Responsibilities

• Deliver life-changing mental health services in community settings.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to adults.
• Utilize motivational interviewing and behavioral techniques to aid treatment goals.
• Maintain manageable caseloads and collaborate with supervisory staff.
• Participate in staffing to set goals and develop individualized plans.
• Respond to emergencies with sound judgment within training scope.
• Document interactions and ensure continuity of care.
