Job summary

ResCare Community Living, a part of the Sevita family, provides services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings. The Program Supervisor role involves implementing ISP, supervising caregivers, and handling scheduling, training, and administrative duties.

You will support individuals with daily activities and community involvement, ensuring safety and quality of care while developing supervisory skills.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license, vehicle registration, and auto insurance.
• Ability to obtain any required licensure or certification.
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with staff and clients.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain staffing and scheduling.
• Supervisory opportunities to gain leadership experience while directly helping people.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ISP implementation and participate in administrative duties such as staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight.
• Supervise a team of Caregivers.
• Provide direct support including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care.
• Split duties between direct support and program activities.
• Facilitate community outings or transportation to work or activities.
