Job summary

Mosaic seeks a Direct Support Supervisor to coordinate program operations for individuals with complex needs in Rockford, Illinois. You will ensure regulatory compliance, hire and train staff, and oversee scheduling and daily activities to support a full life for those served.

You’ll monitor safety, implement behavior plans, and provide on-call support to staff during emergencies, while fostering a compassionate, team-driven environment that values people first.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a related field.
• One year experience in a related field.
• Certification in CPR or willingness to obtain.
• Certification in medication administration or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the integration of individuals into the community by accompanying them to recreational and social activities.
• Monitor the comfort and safety of individuals by ensuring the living environments and program activities are in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Intervene when aggressive and/or inappropriate behavior occurs to implement behavior plans and strategies.
• Provide on-call support to staff during emergencies and locate staff to fill shifts when necessary.
