Kindly Direct Care is hiring a caring Direct Support Professional to provide one-to-one support to an adult with developmental disabilities in North Cape May, NJ.

This role is ideal for someone seeking meaningful part-time work, with a schedule that includes Tuesday and Thursday from 12pm–4pm, and a pay range of $17–$21 per hour. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required to support community outings and errands.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one companionship and person-centered support.
• Help the adult participate in community outings and daily activities.
• Support errands, appointments, recreation, volunteering, and social opportunities.
• Encourage independence, communication, decision-making, and life skills.
• Assist with goals identified in the service plan and maintain routine as required.
• Complete required documentation and communicate with the Kindly team.

What You’ll Do

• Provide one-to-one companionship and person-centered support.

• Help a physically independent individual with an unspecified developmental disability participate in community outings and errands. (Individual has some behaviors.)

• Support errands, appointments, recreation, volunteering, social opportunities, or other community activities as applicable.

• Encourage independence, communication, decision-making, self-advocacy, and life skills.

• Help the individual work toward goals identified in the service plan.

• Provide reminders, routine support, or light assistance as required by the case.

• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.

• Complete required documentation and communicate reliably with the Kindly team.
