Job summary

The Salvation Army Midland Division Midtown Service and Treatment Center in Missouri seeks a Community Support Worker & Job Training Manager to provide case management services with emphasis on employment, health, housing, and community resources to help clients stabilize in a recovery lifestyle.

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position offering a starting salary of $20 per hour, with responsibilities including referrals, coordination with providers, housing assistance, and life-skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field plus one year of work experience.
• Experience with individuals recovering from substance use is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB testing are required.

Responsibilities

• Complete case management functions including intake, assessments, and treatment planning.
• Make referrals to community resources to establish stability.
• Re-engage clients with unexcused absences to promote recovery.
• Coordinate housing and employment resources for clients.
