Job summary

JEVS Human Services is seeking a Community Support Counselor for the Independence Network, a community-based program helping adults with disabilities pursue independent living goals. You will build trust, support plans, and help individuals grow in independence across home and community settings.

You will coach people toward volunteer opportunities or paid roles and facilitate engagement in community activities, with a flexible schedule and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with intellectual disabilities preferred.
• Some college coursework preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

JEVS Human Services has an exciting opportunity as a community-based Community Support Counselor.

The Independence Network empowers young adults with disabilities in a supportive community so they can live independent lives. Each member works with staff to set goals and identify interests and needs. Supports are tailored and delivered to help people pursue their goals.

This opportunity is community based and can be located in Camden, Burlington, and/or Gloucester counties, based on your availability.

In this role, you will work to provide extra support and help to the members of the Independence Network community.

Job Overview:

The base pay for this position is $17.34 per hour. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
