Job summary

Hope Services in California is seeking compassionate staff to provide community-based support for adults with developmental disabilities and mental health needs. You will help participants engage in activities, implement plans, and promote independence in local settings.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. A high school diploma and valid CA driver’s license are required; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred and training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of related experience preferred.
• Valid California driver’s license with a clear driving record.
• Knowledge of community integration and supportive services.

Responsibilities

• Provide group and/or individual support in the community per the consumer’s plan.
• Develop opportunities for participation in community activities.
• Transport clients as needed and travel locally.
• Advocate for consumers and maintain professional relationships.
• Complete required forms and documentation (IPPs, case notes).
• Coordinate programming with center services and staff.
• Respond to incidents and ensure consumer safety.
