Job summary

Clarvida is seeking a Substance Abuse Specialist to join our ACT Team, supporting adults with severe mental illness who also face substance use challenges. You will provide integrated, recovery-oriented services in community settings and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, delivering counseling, coordinating care, and linking clients to community resources.

Qualifications

• Louisiana licensure in one of the listed credentials.
• Minimum of two years of experience with adults with serious mental illness.
• Valid Louisiana driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide substance use assessments and evaluations
• Deliver individual and family counseling services
• Provide case management aligned with treatment plans
• Support clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
• Link clients to community resources and supports
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary ACT team members
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
