Job summary

IGS Energy is seeking a Community Solar Operations Analyst to manage subscription workflows, reporting, and financial operations across our solar portfolio. You will work with utilities, program administrators, and internal teams to ensure accurate data, timely invoices, and scalable processes as we expand access to community solar.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience, with strong Excel, SQL, and ETL skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Data Analytics, Energy Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of full-time work experience; energy or solar industry experience a plus.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools; VBA preferred.
• Proficiency with MS SQL querying; understanding of ETL processes and tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own subscription fill levels across the community solar portfolio.
• Ensure subscription and project data remain accurate and aligned across utility, program administrator, and internal systems.
• Coordinate with utilities and program administrators to support subscription management activities.
• Proactively monitor utility files, identify discrepancies, and drive issue resolution.
• Monitor and manage subscriber churn and identify trends impacting portfolio performance.
• Prepare and distribute financial, operational, and project performance reports.
• Generate invoices for project management and support payment tracking and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with Billing to support revenue and cost tracking.
