Job summary

Villa Esperanza Services is seeking a Skills Instructor for our Adult Day Program (ADP) in Pasadena, CA. The role focuses on helping participants gain employment and essential living skills, with emphasis on independence and safety in community settings.

You will assess client interest, track progress, and coordinate with staff. The position requires driving and completing a background check, First Aid/CPR certification, and a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in developing skills in areas such as community integration, vocational skills, cooking, cleaning, shopping, food preparations, personal health and hygiene, and use of community resources.
• Assure consumers’ medication regime is followed and provide supervision at all times.
• Maintain regular communication with Program Director regarding Client’s activities and write timely reports.
