Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 3 years of customer service experience, military service or law enforcement related experience.

Responsibilities

• Responds to non-hazardous calls regarding not-in-progress minor crime reports via telephone or on-site.
• Mans the police department complaint desk, fields walk-in citizen complaints, and directs visitors.
• Prepares a variety of reports related to crimes and incidents; maintains logs and forms.
• Issues parking citations and assists officers with parking enforcement and control matters.
• Counsels those seeking help and assists them to determine the most appropriate resources.
• Transports vehicles to Fleet Maintenance and performs related administrative tasks.
