Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology or Social Work preferred
• At least 18 credit hours in Education from an accredited college/university
• Demonstrated passion for NY Edge and youth development

Responsibilities

• Assist Community School Director with daily program operations
• Collaborate with school leadership to track progress and analyze data
• Supervise community school support specialists and success mentors
• Support student educational and social development
• Ensure staff training on instructional methodology
• Lead projects fostering academic, cultural, and artistic growth
• Support students inside and outside the classroom
• Recruit and supervise qualified staff to fulfill mission
• Assess student progress with academic support specialists
• Coordinate space for student and family services and events
• Model professional conduct and uphold boundaries
• Promote positive youth development and character
• Participate in governance and meetings
