Job summary

The City of Philadelphia, Mayor’s Office of Education (MOE), is seeking a Community School Coordinator to implement and coordinate the community school strategy at the site level, while remaining accountable to the principal and MOE.

You will map assets, build partnerships with local providers, engage families and staff, and manage data-driven planning with weekly reports to school and city leaders. A collaborative, community-focused mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in community organizing, education, healthcare, social work, or working with Community Schools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate community school asset mapping and partnerships.
• Engage families and school staff to understand student needs.
• Develop and manage Community School Work plan and reports.
• Lead Community School Committee with principals and stakeholders.
• Track services and report weekly to school and city leaders.
