Job summary

Northfield Public Schools is seeking a part-time Community School Licensed Teacher to lead after-school clubs at Greenvale Park, Spring Creek, Bridgewater, and Middle School locations. Position runs 3:30-5:00 PM, with some evenings. Earn $40/hour with sick time accrual.

Applicants must hold a Minnesota teaching license and demonstrate ability to develop curricula for elementary/middle school students, support social-emotional learning, and collaborate with site staff. Background check required.

Community School Licensed Teacher

JOB ID: 4791 - Community School Licensed Teacher - Part-time positions beginning 9/21/2026-5/14/2027.

Locations: Greenvale Park, Spring Creek, Bridgewater, Middle School

Scheduled Hours/Days: Up to 8 hours/week. M-Th, 3:30-5 (some evening options)

Qualifications Required: Current MN Teaching license. Experience in creating and implementing curriculum for K-8 students in a school setting, as well as overseeing student behavior and outcomes. Ensuring activities for youth have opportunities for social connections and emotional learning and reflection. Be an energetic, patient and caring adult. Must be able to adapt to an ever-changing environment. Must be able to work independently and on a team.

Pay Rate/Range: $40/hr.

• An employee earns one hour of sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked and can earn a maximum of 48 hours each year.

Deadline: 8/28/2026. EOE (8/5/2026). Employment is contingent upon completion of a background check.
