Job summary

Osseo Area School District ISD 279 in Maple Grove, MN seeks a Coordinator, Community School to plan, develop, evaluate, and improve district programs across ECFE, VPK, DOEE, Indian Education, and community engagement. The role administers budgets, seeks grants, and serves as liaison to external agencies while supporting staff and district goals.

The coordinator builds staff capacity, fosters equity, and coordinates professional development and partnerships, with flexible hours to meet district

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Human Development, Early Childhood Development, Education, or a closely related field.
• Must possess a valid Minnesota K-12 Principal or Director of Community Education license.
• Five (5) years of relevant programming experience.
• Three (3) years of supervisory experience.
• Flexible work schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates management skills to ensure effective operations of early learning programs.
• Collaborates with leaders to manage budgets and resources.
• Identifies grant opportunities and administers funding aligned with program needs.
• Supervises personnel, provides feedback, and supports continuous improvement.
• Leads development and implementation of marketing and outreach strategies for district families.
• Partners with external agencies and community organizations to strengthen early learning work.
