Job summary

RHP Properties is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for our Maplewood IN community near Indianapolis. The role involves clerical duties, customer service, and supporting the Community Manager in sales and data entry.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of general office experience, be detail-oriented, and proficient with Microsoft Office. A high school diploma or GED is required, with driving flexibility to commute between communities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of general office experience.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record; ability to commute between communities.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers with a polite, professional demeanor.
• Answer community office telephone calls promptly and professionally, provide requested information for telephone inquiries.
• Develop and maintain community relationships.
• Use Microsoft Office to produce and present documents.
• Assist the Community Manager in entering data into the management software program.
• Assist the Community Manager in completing guest cards and entering lead information in the Link System.
• Maintain all community office files according to company policy.
• Inventory, order and verify receipt of office supplies; coordinate maintenance of office equipment.
• Document telephone conversations, visits, and presentations to maintain existing customers and to build a book of business of potential residents for property management.
• Work with the Community Manager in new and used home sales; present homes to potential residents as needed.
• Ensure residents’ privacy and property preservation.
• Comply with Federal, State, and Local regulatory requirements.
