The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Center Chicago is seeking a Safety Associate to help provide a safe, secure environment for members, guests and staff. Under the Facilities Service Manager, you will enforce center policies and respond to emergencies with attention to grooming and professional conduct.

Ideal candidates are detail oriented, physically fit, able to work in a fast-paced setting, and capable of independent as well as team-based work. Safety training is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of safety and security, customer service, regulatory guidelines.
• Standards for grooming and conduct as per center policies.

• Enforce Salvation Army/Ray & Joan Kroc Center policies and procedures.
• Remain alert and vigilant; monitor building security.
• Follow safety guidelines to keep staff and guests safe.
• Interact professionally with staff, members and guests.
• Greet guests on entry and report safety concerns to the Facilities Service Manager.
• Conduct safety checks, participate in drills, respond to emergencies.
• Wanding or operate metal detectors as needed.
• Adhere to all policies; duties may change as required.
