Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf in Sun Lakes, AZ is seeking a Community Patrol Officer II to protect the community, observe and report disturbances, and maintain a safe environment. You will build relationships with residents, guests, and police, reporting incidents and following procedures under the Director of Patrol.

The role requires at least five years in customer service, strong communication, conflict resolution, and the ability to work a flexible schedule for 24-hour coverage.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Five years’ or more experience in customer service with public patrons.
• First Aid or other safety certifications as required by the Club.
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of safety requirements for state and local regulations.
• Expert knowledge of conflict resolution techniques.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute positively to the BlueStar culture of values, purpose, and guest satisfaction.
• Enforce Association rules and regulations to create a safe and clean environment.
• Provide 24-hour systematic and random surveillance of the community; maintain a patrol log.
• Confer with individuals involved in disturbances to determine course of action; maintain incident reporting procedures.
• Maintain vehicle orderliness and report needs for repairs as required.
• Contact local police officers when necessary.
• Carry out assigned projects with little supervision and make decisions when management is unavailable.
• Train and mentor new team members on Patrol Officer duties as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
