Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, education, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
• Two (2) years of experience as an instructor/educator involving program development and education or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate and implement comprehensive Crime Prevention and safety education programs.
• Lead events and activities for the City of Kent community, including National Night Out.
• Serve as the vital link between the police department and the public to promote safety education.
• Develop curriculum, deliver presentations to schools, citizen groups and individuals of all ages.
• Prepare activity reports for grant reporting and program tracking and manage related materials.
• Coordinate volunteers, training and supervision for program delivery.
