Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Community Health Center Retail Pharmacy Technician in Maryland for a PRN/on-call role. You will support pharmacists, handle prescriptions, and interact with patients to ensure accurate dispensing and timely medication delivery.

The position requires a high school diploma, state registration where applicable, and PTCB certification or ability to obtain within 180 days. 340B experience is preferred. Flexible hours include late shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Registration in state where the position is located (if applicable).
• PTCB Certification or ability to obtain within 180 days of employment.
• At least 2 years of retail pharmacy technician experience.
• 340B experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with pharmacy staff, physicians, nurses, and other medical personnel.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions and preparing medications.
• Ensure medication availability and accuracy in profiling prescriptions.
• Deliver medications to patients and manage ordering when needed.
• Support 340B program compliance and best practices.
