Job summary

Cardinal Health's Community Health Center in Canton, OH is seeking a dedicated Retail Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in dispensing medications and delivering patient care. This PRN role at a company-owned retail contract pharmacy emphasizes teamwork, patient interaction, and adherence to 340B programs, with hours 8:30am–5:00pm and a flexible on‑as‑needed schedule.

Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, state registration if required, and at least 2

Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent preferred.
Registration in state where the position is located (if applicable).
At least 2 years with retail pharmacy technician related experience preferred.
340B experience preferred.
May require vendor credentialing.

Responsibilities

Maintain professional working relationships with pharmacy personnel, physicians, nurses, and other medical personnel.
Be available to customers/patients at all times.
Maintain friendly and helpful attitude when dealing with customers.
Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Organizes medications for pharmacist to dispense, label preparation, and quantity calculations.
Ensure medication availability by delivering medications to patients and placing orders as needed.
Contribute to team effort by achieving related results.
Work with pharmacy team to ensure best practices with 340B.
