The role involves coordinating pantry distributions, case assistance, and data reporting with a team. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; some college experience preferred.
• Experience working with community members.
• Comfortable making home deliveries and working in varying weather conditions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Publisher.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in distributing nutritional food packages to eligible clients, stocking shelves, deliveries, and intake/assessments.
• Package food items and deliver pantry bags to community members per route.
• Maintain an accurate delivery log and support data entry for reporting.
• Conduct Community Needs Assessments for older adults in public housing and surrounding areas.
• Assist with intake, registrations, telephone reassurance, and simple benefit applications.
• Track data related to support calls and assist aging services programming.
• Support the Community Resource Coordinator and other program activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
