Qualifications

• 2-4 years of work with local governments or non-profits managing projects and/or grants.
• Experience or background working with communities, networks, and non-profit organizations in natural resource management with cultural competence.
• Ability to operate state vehicles and travel during regular and non-standard business hours.
• Valid Maryland motor vehicle operator's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic outreach, capacity building, and technical assistance to local governments, community partners, and non-profits across Maryland, focusing on underserved areas.
• Coordinate meetings and site visits to advance resilience projects and partnerships.
• Manage state and federal grants and assist with reporting and compliance.
• Plan and support community events and programs to build skills for environmental restoration and resilience.
• Help diverse communities develop skills for environmental restoration and resilience projects.
