Job summary

The State of Maryland's Center for Resilient Communities and Landscapes is seeking an Administrator I / Community Resilience Coordinator in Annapolis, MD.

This contractual, ongoing role supports climate resilience programs by building partnerships with local governments, nonprofits, and communities, delivering outreach, capacity building, and technical assistance across Maryland, with emphasis on underserved areas.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
• Four years of administrative staff or professional work.
• Notes: substitutions may be made for college credits or degrees per the job description.
• 2-4 years of work with local governments or non-profits managing projects and/or grants.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Partnership and Climate Resilience Programs to build capacity and provide technical assistance.
• Engage and assist diverse and under-represented communities for environmental actions.
• Coordinate meetings and outdoor site visits; assist with state/federal grant management.
• Plan events or workshops for specific communities and foster local partnerships.
