Job summary

State of Maryland is seeking an Administrator I / Community Resilience Coordinator in Annapolis, MD. The role operates under the Center for Resilient Communities and Landscapes Program to support climate resilience initiatives and community partnerships.

Responsibilities include building relationships with local governments and nonprofits, providing outreach and capacity-building, coordinating meetings and site visits, and managing grants.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent.
• Four years of administrative staff or professional work.
• Alternative substitutions for experience include college credits, degrees, or military service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Climate Resilience and Community Partnership Programs to build capacity and provide technical assistance to local governments and communities.
• Coordinate meetings, site visits, and events/workshops across Maryland.
• Manage state and/or federal grants and support restoration and resilience projects.
