Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking a Volunteer Services Coordinator III to support Community Relations and volunteers at the Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center. You will organize, publicize, and coordinate volunteer activities to advance the agency's mission and serve Texans with dignity.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent is required.
• At least six months' experience as a volunteer coordinator or community service liaison.
• Experience in fundraising, corporate development, events, or public information preferred.
• Knowledge of community resources and ability to engage with community leaders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and promote volunteer programs to support the facility.
• Recruit, select, orient, and assign volunteers.
• Track expenditures and prepare reports for volunteer activities.
• Represent HHSC at community events and public engagements.
