Job summary

Gerdau is seeking a Public Relation Communication Admin to coordinate plant tours and community involvement at our Texas facility. You will serve as the primary contact for social responsibility initiatives, manage scheduling, presentations, and visitor logistics, and support leadership during large-scale visits.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, organization, and customer service skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule plant tours to minimize operational impact.
• Serve as primary liaison for social responsibility initiatives and community groups.
• Accompany tour groups and present department-specific information to visitors.
• Create and deliver professional presentations aligned with branding standards.
• Manage visitor logistics, PPE, room reservations, transportation, and swag orders.
• Assist leadership with large-scale visits, summits, and events.
• Monitor and control budget spend related to public relations and social responsibility.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
