Job summary

FirstLight Home Care is seeking a personable Community Relations Specialist to expand our presence across the Wiregrass. This role involves meeting healthcare professionals, conducting in-home care assessments, and building referral partnerships to help families access care.

You will spend time networking at events, managing a sales pipeline in our CRM, and representing FirstLight at hospitals, physician offices, and senior communities.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, outside sales, business development, admissions, customer service, or relationship-based sales is helpful, but training is provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary for working with diverse groups.
• Ability to travel within the service area and maintain a professional appearance.
• Reside in or near the Dothan/Wiregrass area with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with hospitals, physician offices, rehab facilities, assisted living communities, hospice agencies, VA organizations, and other healthcare professionals.
• Represent FirstLight throughout the Wiregrass at networking events, Lunch & Learns, and community activities.
• Conduct in-home care assessments and guide families through the decision-making process.
• Develop and maintain referral partnerships that generate new client opportunities.
• Manage your sales pipeline and follow up with prospective clients using our CRM.
