Job summary

Royal Credit Union is seeking a Community Relations Intern in New Richmond, WI to support planning and execution of events and community engagement activities. You will help create media content and represent Royal in local communities while gaining hands-on experience.

Applicants must be enrolled in a university or technical college, be bondable, possess a valid driver’s license, and be willing to travel locally.

Qualifications

• Enrolled at a University or Technical College throughout the length of the internship in PR, communications, journalism, marketing or related field.
• Must be bondable with a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with reliable time management.

Responsibilities

• Represent Royal at community events including expos, parades, and open houses.
• Assist with planning and executing events and programs aligned with Royal’s mission.
• Create and distribute media content such as press releases, blogs, and social posts.
• Support Marketing with promotional materials and internal programs.
