Job summary

Hills & Dales Child Development Center is seeking a passionate Community Engagement Specialist to advance our mission through fundraising, outreach, volunteer engagement, and communications. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with donor databases, data entry, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of social media, marketing, or fundraising practices preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fundraising campaigns, donor communications, and special events
• Maintain donor records and track contributions in the database
• Coordinate volunteer recruitment, orientation, and recognition
• Manage social media scheduling and community engagement activities
• Assist with newsletters, marketing materials, website updates, and publications
• Support grant research and writing efforts
• Build relationships with community organizations, businesses, and donors
• Represent Hills & Dales at community events and presentations
