Job summary

Compass Senior Living in Hayden, Idaho seeks a Community Relations Director to lead sales and marketing efforts, drive occupancy, and support the community’s financial success through strategic plans and exceptional customer service.

You’ll build relationships with prospective residents, families, healthcare partners, and team members while training staff to handle inquiries, tours, and service needs. A bachelor’s degree or relevant experience and strong English communication are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales and marketing process to increase occupancy; collaborate with leadership team.
• Make sales calls, schedule educational presentations, and coordinate marketing events.
• Outreach to nursing homes, physician offices, and other health care professionals.
• Train and support team members to handle inquiries, tours, and service needs.
• Maintain knowledge of federal/state regulations related to elder care and marketing.
• Prepare reports and develop strategic marketing plans; model Compass Senior Living values.

What You’ll Do

The Community Relations Director (CRD) leads the sales and marketing initiatives. The goal is to increase/maintain occupancy. The CRD supports the financial success of the community, representing the company's culture and values, developing strategic marketing plans, and role-modeling extraordinary customer service. The CRD builds relationships with future residents, families, team members, vendors, and the greater community.

• You will have overall responsibility for the sales and marketing process, working collaboratively with members of your leadership team.
• You will make sales calls, schedule educational presentations, and coordinate marketing events.
• You will do outreach to nursing homes, physician offices, and other health care professionals.
• You will guide, train and support team members to serve as a backup in taking inquiry calls, giving tours, and providing customer service as needed.
• You will maintain a working knowledge of federal and state regulations.
• You will prepare reports as required and develop strategic marketing plans.
• You will model the Compass Senior Living values of goodness, loyalty, faith, and fun as a representative of your community.
