Job summary

Terros Health is seeking a Peer Support Specialist in Phoenix, AZ to provide a safe, supportive environment in a residential setting and engage clients in services that enhance functioning and community integration.

The role offers a day shift, with 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Benefits include multiple medical/dental/vision plans, 401(k) with company match, PTO, holidays, and robust wellness resources.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with at least six weeks of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in the behavioral health field; or a non-behavioral field bachelor’s with 1 year relevant experience.
• Must pass DCS Central Registry check without any disqualifying events.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Background check.
• Valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one.
• Current Arizona Driver License and a satisfactory 39-month MVR.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes for new patients, develop ISPs, and provide orientation to the program.
• Provide physical walkthrough and explain program requirements to new patients.
• Contact clients at least twice weekly to assess needs and adjust treatment plans.
• Connect clients with community resources and supports (medical, housing, employment, education).
• Educate and support reintegration into the community and employment goals.
