Job summary

The GEO Group seeks a Community Navigator in California to build and sustain a regional network of community-based service providers and referral sources to support participant reintegration. You will stabilize participants with essential needs and refer to treatment providers based on assessed needs.

You will identify housing, employment, behavioral health resources and ensure timely communication with state and federal programs to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ experience in criminal justice, treatment or social services setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in social services or criminal justice preferred.
• Excellent English and spelling skills.
• Ability to read and interpret government regulations and procedures.
• Strong communication and case management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a regional network of community-based service providers.
• Connects participants to needed services and ensures eligible benefits are obtained.
• Facilitates communication between providers, parole administration, and GEO staff.
• Gathers and reports data for program oversight and effectiveness.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
