Job summary

EmergencyMD is seeking a Recreation Coordinator for Parks & Recreation to support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of community programs. You will assist the supervisor in delivering services, coordinating festivals and events, and ensuring excellent customer service.

The role requires a high school diploma with additional recreation education or equivalent experience; supervision experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus two years of advanced education in recreation or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in supervision and recreational settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering recreational services, planning, implementing, promoting, and evaluating programs.
• Lead recreational programs, festivals, and special events.
• Maintain attendance records and collect program fees.
• Provide customer service and enforce park rules.
• Assist with marketing, promotion, and rental supervision.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, facilities, and park appearance.
• Follow safety protocols and city policies.
