City of Anna, Texas is seeking a Recreation Program Supervisor to plan, promote, coordinate, implement, and evaluate youth and adult recreation programs, community engagement initiatives, and facility operations.

The role oversees program and event staff, contractors, and volunteers, while managing program needs, facility use, and budget responsibilities to ensure effectiveness and alignment with community interests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 4 years related experience; 2 years in management or supervisory capacity.
• Must possess a valid Class C driver's license and maintain insurability under City policy.
• Must possess CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications or obtain within six months.
• Must possess CPRP certification through NRPA or obtain within six months.
• Must possess Sports Administrator certification through NCYS or obtain within six months.

Responsabilités

• Plan, promote, coordinate, implement, and evaluate youth, adult, 50+ programs, community engagement initiatives and facility operations.
• Oversee program operations including registration, fees, waitlists, scheduling, and coordination with City staff, contractors, and partners.
• Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, coach, and evaluate staff, instructors, contractors, and volunteers; ensure background checks and contracts are maintained.
• Prepare annual/seasonal calendars, staffing plans, and facility-use plans; coordinate with City departments, schools, groups, and partners.
• Develop and monitor program budgets, revenue/expense reports, and evaluate cost recovery; manage purchasing and payments.
