Job summary

China Lake Golf Course is seeking a staff member to support Community Recreation programs and activities on base. You will assist with customer service, registrations and program information, and ensure accurate handling of sales transactions and inventories.

The role involves helping with event planning, facility check-in/out, and collaboration with partners to promote MWR events and recreation resources.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service, information and support for Community Recreation programs and activities.
• Collects fees from customers for tickets, retail and rental items using POS and computer programs.
• Maintains accuracy of daily sales transactions and completes a Daily Activity Report (DAR).
• Assists in processing Internet registrations and event registrations.
• Checks in/out Community Recreation equipment and resources; collects rental fees and inventories items.
• Notifies supervisor of any damage or loss and ensures forms are properly completed.
• Performs inventory and maintains equipment for accountability of program resources.
• Assists with recruitment, training and scheduling of Community Recreation staff.
• Supports planning, coordination and execution of MWR programs and events.
• Performs maintenance and updates to electronic and multimedia support tools.
• Develops partnerships with on-base and off-base organizations to support MWR programs.
