Macon-Bibb County Consolidated Government seeks a Community Center Coordinator I to assist with supervising and conducting leisure activities at the assigned recreation center. The role supports daily operations, scheduling, class leading, and safety, with duties spanning youth to seniors.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a Bachelor's in Parks and Recreation, and at least two years in parks/recreational programming; a valid Georgia driver's license is required.

Formación

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's in Parks and Recreation preferred.
• At least two years of full-time experience in parks/recreational programming.
• Combination of education and experience acceptable to the appointing authority.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in conducting and supervising parks/recreational activities including sports and cultural arts.
• Assist in supervising, scheduling and coordinating use of community center, parks, and facilities.
• Demonstrate, organize, teach and lead activities for all age groups.
• Assist in supervising personnel and volunteers; maintain records and reports.
• Assist in collecting fees, reporting charges and budget recommendations.
• Ensure daily operation of recreation programs and proper use of facilities and equipment.
