Job summary

The Peer Counselor at Catholic Charities Serving Central Washington joins the PACT team to deliver recovery‑oriented services in community settings, including clients’ homes. Using lived experience, you support stabilization, psychiatric rehabilitation, and independence through strengths‑based, person‑centered care.

You collaborate with colleagues, participate in on‑call rotations for 24/7 coverage, document in EMR systems, and connect clients to housing, health and social resources while

Qualifications

• Lived experience with mental health or substance use recovery.
• Two+ years of active, sustained recovery is preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide recovery‑oriented, strengths‑based services to support stabilization and independence.
• Consult with team from a lived experience perspective to understand client experiences and treatment preferences.
• Document services accurately in EMR and maintain logs as required.
