Job summary

Catholic Charities of Central Washington is seeking a Peer Counselor for the PACT team to deliver recovery‑oriented outreach and support in clients’ homes and community settings. You will use lived experience to assist with stabilization, rehabilitation, and connecting clients to resources, while collaborating with the team for continuous care.

This role emphasizes strengths‑based practice, client self‑determination, and 24/7 coverage through on‑call rotations, under supervision of the Program

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Certified Peer Support
• Lived recovery experience allowed
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to build trusting relationships
• Competent in electronic record documentation
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Team player with flexibility and professionalism
• Willingness to be on-call

Responsibilities

• Meets weekly with Supervisor for consultation and supervision.
• Provides consultation from a lived-experience perspective on recovery and treatment.
• Interprets client experiences to non‑mental health staff to promote understanding.
• Collaborates to honor client perspectives and support self‑determination.
• Delivers strengths-based, client-centered services for independence and community access.
• Assists with transportation, daily living, and access to resources.
• Coordinates care and referrals with providers and documents in EMR.
• Maintains professional relationships with Catholic Charities and partners.
• Participates in on‑call rotations and required trainings.
